The Management of Gateway ICT Polytechnic, Saapade has reiterated the importance of attending lectures, citing a gross disregard for learning and academic activities among students. As a result, all students, including full-time and part-time, are required to have a minimum of 70% attendance of lectures.
Any student who fails to meet this requirement will not be allowed to sit for examinations, effective from the 2nd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Session. Furthermore, such students will be blocked from accessing the examination docket.
This directive is intended to improve student performance and emphasize the importance of regular attendance. All students are expected to comply with this new requirement.
