The Security Affairs Directorate has announced the indefinite suspension of all football training and matches on the university's pitches, effective immediately. This directive is specifically targeted at external football teams using the institution's facilities.
According to an official statement, the decision follows a violent altercation between two external football teams during a friendly match on Saturday, April 25th, 2026. The incident reportedly caused significant tension within the university community.
Security personnel had to intervene to curtail the situation and restore order. To prevent future security breaches and maintain campus safety, the university management has opted to halt all external sporting engagements on the fields.
The Directorate emphasized that this suspension applies to all external teams without exception. Strict compliance is mandatory, and security operatives have been briefed to ensure the directive is upheld.
