The Students' Union Government (SUG) appreciates the maturity, patience, and commitment to peace displayed by students during the recent hike in transportation charges on campus. This peaceful approach aligns with the Union's vision for a disruption-free academic environment.
Following the conclusion of the first semester examinations, the SUG engaged with the relevant authorities in charge of transportation within the campus. As a result, the fare has been reverted to its initial price of #150, effective immediately. This adjustment is subject to review in line with fuel price fluctuations.
The SUG welcomes students back to the second half of the 2025/2026 academic session, wishing them a successful and enlightening semester. Students are encouraged to reach out to the Union Executives with any complaints, inquiries, reports, or concerns.
