University Management has reiterated the compulsory use of official University Identity Cards within the campus premises.

The introduction of Identity Cards with lanyards was part of the University's security measures, but compliance has been lacking.

In response, Management has directed that all staff and students must wear their official Identity Cards while on campus, effective immediately.

• Deans
• Directors
• Heads of Departments
• Heads of Units
• Other supervisors must ensure strict adherence to this directive.

Security personnel are also instructed to request proof of identity from anyone without a valid University Identity Card before allowing access to the premises.

To obtain lanyards, members of staff should pay Five Hundred Naira to the Bursary Department and visit the Directorate of Human Resources Management with verified payment evidence. Students should contact their Faculty Officers for lanyard collection.

Non-compliance with these directives will result in disciplinary action.
