BSU Academic Calendar Details

The Senate of BSU, at its recent meeting, has given its approval for the Second Semester Academic Calendar for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. This decision was made during the 338th Emergency Meeting held on Friday, 24th July, 2026.

Key Dates for Second Semester

• Resumption for the second semester is set for Monday, 27th July, 2026
• Registration will commence immediately upon resumption and will run until Friday, 7th August, 2026

Commencement of Lectures

According to the approved calendar, lectures for undergraduate students will commence on Monday, 10th August, 2026. Postgraduate students, on the other hand, are expected to resume on Monday, 17th August, 2026.

Registration and Commencement of Academic Activities

The University Management has directed all returning students to arrive on campus promptly and complete their registration within the stipulated period. This is to ensure a smooth commencement of academic activities for the second semester.
