The Institute wishes to alert the general public, prospective candidates, current students, staff members, parents, alumni and all other interested parties that any social media handle, page, group or online outlet that has not received formal authorisation or verification from the Institute should be considered unofficial and must not be treated as a reliable source of information about AFIT.
Consequently, details regarding the Institute’s academic programmes, admission procedures, scholarly activities, examinations, fee structures, events, appointments, policies, official announcements and related matters should be sourced exclusively from the Institute’s official website and its verified social‑media channels, or through other communication avenues that are formally recognised by the Institute. The Institute does not assume any responsibility for the accuracy, authenticity or any consequences that may arise from information, advertisements, announcements, admission offers, payment requests or other content circulated via unauthorised social‑media handles. Members of the public are therefore urged to exercise due diligence, verify any information obtained from such platforms, and refrain from acting on or making payments based on unverified content.
Furthermore, the Institute cautions individuals and organisations against employing the Institute’s name, logo, visual identity, photographs or any other institutional material to establish or operate social‑media platforms without obtaining the appropriate authorisation.
For clarity, only the social‑media platforms listed above have been formally approved and verified by the Institute and are to be regarded as the official conduits for disseminating institutional information.
