The University of Calabar’s administration, acting via the Deputy Vice‑Chancellor (Academic) office, has released a memo for all students outlining how to re‑enter academic work following a temporary pause.

This instruction is aimed at those who placed their studies on hold in the 2025/2026 session and are expected to return for the 2026/2027 term.

• Formal application needed: Every student who requested a suspension in the 2025/2026 session must submit a formal request to resume studies.
• Mandatory approval letter: A signed Approval Letter for Resumption of Studies must be obtained by the concerned students.
• Registration prerequisite: The Approval Letter will be required as proof when registering for courses in the 2026/2027 session.
