The Kwara State University (KWASU) Students' Union has been receiving multiple complaints from learners about courses still showing as pending on their online portals and cases where students received a zero mark for courses they actually enrolled in and attended.

To address these issues, the Union consulted with university administrators and the relevant academic officials seeking a durable solution. After these discussions, the administration acknowledged the problems and indicated readiness to investigate authentic cases submitted for verification and appropriate action.

Consequently, any student experiencing either pending courses or zero‑recorded grades must promptly forward their situation to the Class Representative of their cohort. Students should supply full and correct details, naming the specific course(s) involved and attaching any supporting documentation that could help verify the claim.

Class Representatives are tasked with gathering the reports from their classmates and sending them to the Departmental Presidents, who will coordinate with the respective Departmental Examination Officers to carry out verification and the necessary administrative steps.

The Students' Union must be kept fully updated throughout the procedure to allow effective monitoring, possible intervention, and follow‑up as needed.

Learners are strongly encouraged to use this reporting channel and to ensure their complaints are properly recorded. No affected student should stay silent or assume the matter will resolve on its own. Likewise, students should avoid submitting contradictory or unsubstantiable information, as precise documentation is crucial for a successful outcome.

The Union reaffirms its commitment to safeguarding the academic interests and welfare of every student.
