The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced an additional extension of the enrolment window for its November/December 2026 examination series. Prospective candidates now have until midnight on Thursday, 8 October 2026, to complete their registration.
The extension applies to candidates seeking the following qualifications:
Originally, the cut‑off date was set for Friday, 2 October 2026. NABTEB has now moved the deadline to the end of the day on 8 October 2026, giving applicants an extra six days to submit their forms.
The decision to lengthen the registration period was authorised by Dr. Mohammed Aminu Mohammed, Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB, through an internal memorandum dated 1 October 2026. The memorandum bears the signature of Chigoziem Susan Metu, Director of Examinations Administration.
Importantly, NABTEB clarified that this latest extension, like the earlier ones for the same examination session, does not incur any additional registration charges. Candidates are explicitly advised not to make any extra payments on the premise of the extended deadline.
The board urges all applicants who have not yet registered, or who have incomplete registrations, to take full advantage of the newly granted time and finalise their enrolment before the revised cut‑off.
NABTEB also cautioned that no further extensions will be considered after the 8 October 2026 deadline, emphasizing the finality of this date.
The announcement bears the signature of Uchechukwu Olisah, Assistant Director of Media/Protocol, and was issued on 2 October 2026.
New Registration Deadline: Thursday, October 8, 2026, at midnight.
