The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja has observed a surge in requests for amendments to NYSC Discharge Certificates, Certificates of Exemption, and Certificates of Exclusion. These amendments typically arise from mistakes entered during the online registration process, especially when the registration is completed at private cyber cafés.

Accordingly, all incoming corps members are hereby informed that, according to the information received by this office, a charge of N50,000 (fifty thousand naira) will be imposed for any correction to the certificates mentioned above.

Prospective corps members are therefore advised to exercise the utmost care when filling out their online registration and to verify that every piece of information entered is accurate before submission, in order to avoid errors and the associated correction fee.
