The Federal Polytechnic, Idah, has officially commenced the final registration and documentation exercise for National Diploma I (ND I) and Higher National Diploma I (HND I) students for the 2024/2025 Academic Session. This announcement was made through an internal memo issued by the Deputy Registrar (Admissions), outlining the specifics of the exercise.
The final registration and documentation exercise is scheduled to take place from Monday, January 19, 2026, to Friday, February 6, 2026. During this period, affected students are required to report to the New Convocation Square between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily to complete the necessary documentation. The institution has stressed that students who fail to complete the final documentation process will be considered as not fully registered, emphasizing the importance of meeting this requirement.
The Polytechnic has urged students to take the exercise seriously, warning that any student who fails to meet the registration deadline will be required to pay a late registration surcharge of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000.00). To ensure compliance, Heads of Academic Departments have been directed to communicate the contents of the memo to all affected students. The notice, signed by S. Idegwu, Assistant Chief Executive Officer (Admissions), on behalf of the Registrar, has been circulated to principal officers of the institution, including the Rector, Deputy Rectors, Registrar, Bursar, Polytechnic Librarian, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, and posted on all official notice boards.
