The university has addressed the issue of some NELFUND sponsored students being unable to generate and print their e-Exam cards for EMC authentication. To resolve this, EMC Faculty Representatives have been instructed to issue Manual Examination Cards to these students and others who have paid their registration fees but are also unable to generate and print their e-Exam cards.
The issuance of Manual Examination Cards is subject to specific conditions that EMC Faculty Representatives must strictly adhere to. NELFUND sponsored students are required to generate and print evidence of verified payment for the 2025/2026 session from the NELFUND portal. Self-sponsored students, on the other hand, must obtain verified payment evidence for the 2025/2026 session from the Bursary.
To process the Manual Examination Cards, students must present evidence of payment along with a clean passport photograph to their respective EMC Faculty Representatives. It is essential that students with no evidence of payment are not entertained. Furthermore, affected students must only present themselves to their designated EMC Faculty Representative.
A copy of the payment evidence must be submitted to the EMC Faculty Representative for record-keeping purposes, and a list of students issued with Manual Examination Cards must be maintained. Any issuance of Manual Examination Cards contrary to these conditions is considered a gross violation of regulations and may result in sanctions.
The university appreciates the cooperation of all parties involved in this matter.
