The Students’ Union Transport Committee of Olabisi Onabanjo University has issued a memorandum to address transportation issues on campus. The Committee has met with Bus and Tricycle Chairmen and other authorities to tackle the current bus scarcity and logistical challenges faced by students. The Committee is committed to upholding student rights and finding sustainable solutions to these transportation challenges. To improve the transport network, students are advised to note the following guidelines: Be punctual, arriving early at designated parks to avoid missing trips and overcrowding. Avoid last-minute movement, as leaving hostels just before lectures creates a surge that the current transport capacity cannot absorb. Adhere to dressing codes to facilitate faster security checks and prevent bottlenecks. The memorandum, signed by Dehinbo Babajide Adewale, Chairman, and Odeyemi Oluwaniyi Solomon, General Secretary, emphasizes that a reliable system requires collective discipline from the student body.
