The Vice-Chancellor and Chairman of Senate, Professor Ndukwe J. Okeudo, has approved the postponement of the First Semester Examinations for the 2025/26 academic session. The examinations, initially set to commence on Monday, 27th April, 2026, will now start two weeks later, on Monday, 11th May, 2026.
All relevant parties, including Provost, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, and students, are expected to take note of this adjustment and comply accordingly. It is crucial to remember that only students who have paid their fees and registered for their courses will be eligible to participate in the examinations.
The university's senate policy, which mandates a minimum 75% attendance at lectures as a prerequisite for writing the examinations, will be strictly enforced. Students are advised to ensure they meet this requirement to avoid any issues.
