The Vice-Chancellor of Abia State University, Professor Ndukwe J. Okeudo, invites the academic community, parents, guardians, and well-wishers to the 30th, 31st, and 32nd combined Convocation ceremonies. The events will honor the 2022/2023, 2023/2024, and 2024/2025 sets of graduands.

The Convocation activities will begin with a Vice-Chancellor's pre-convocation press briefing on Tuesday, 24th March 2026, at 11:00 am in the Senate Chamber. This will be followed by a Pre-Convocation Lecture by Professor Bart Nnaji, former Hon. Minister of Power, Federal Republic of Nigeria, on Thursday, 26th March 2026, at 10:00 am in the University Auditorium.

The Conferment of First Degrees, Higher Degrees, Presentation of prizes, and Honorary Doctorate Degrees will take place on Friday, 27th March 2026. The honorary awardees include His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II), Ooni of Ife; Dr. Barr Allen Onyema, Chairman/CEO, Airpeace limited, Nigeria; and Dr. Stella Chinyelu Okoli, Group Managing Director, Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries, Lagos.

The hiring cost of academic regalia and the Convocation brochure is N20,000 for Higher Degrees and N15,000 for First Degrees. Payments should be made at the Abia State University Micro-Finance Bank, Uturu, or other designated banks. The issuance of these materials will begin on Wednesday, 25th March 2026. All guests are expected to be seated by 9:30 am before the arrival of the Academic procession.
