The Federal University of Lafia has achieved a significant milestone with 100% full accreditation status for all assessed academic programmes by the National Universities Commission in 2025. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida, described this development as a landmark in the University's pursuit of academic excellence. He expressed appreciation to the immediate past Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, for the success of the accreditation exercise. Kida also commended the immediate past director of academic planning and current Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic Affairs, Prof. Ilemona Adofu, for his role in coordinating the accreditation processes. The vice-chancellor praised deans of faculties and heads of departments for their cooperation and dedication. The feat reflects the University's investment in human capital and infrastructure development, adhering to NUC regulatory benchmarks. Kida assured stakeholders that the University will consolidate on the gains and continue to uphold high academic standards in teaching, research, and community service.
