The Students’ Union of the University of Uyo has issued a critical alert regarding unauthorized publications currently circulating online. A notice from a platform identified as 'Mr Paul Online Academic & Web Services' concerning NELFUND disbursements and student verification has been declared false and misleading.
1. Unauthorized Source: The publication in question did not originate from the University of Uyo or the Students’ Union. Mr Paul Online Academic & Web Services is not an official or recognized information platform for the institution.
2. False Claims: All claims regarding NELFUND disbursement, portal updates, and student verification status contained in the viral notice are entirely false. Students are instructed to disregard these claims in their entirety.
3. Risk Warning: Students are cautioned against acting on or circulating information from this unauthorized platform. Any student who chooses to follow these unofficial directives does so at their own personal risk; such actions are not recognized by the University administration.
To avoid confusion and protect personal data, students are urged to rely exclusively on official University of Uyo communication channels and recognized Students’ Union (SUG) platforms. The student community is encouraged to help curb the spread of misinformation by refraining from sharing unverified notices.
