The Students’ Union Government (SUG) at Federal Poly, Bauchi, led by Comrade Idris Mustapha Abubakar, has made new appointments to prioritize student welfare and improve communication regarding housing.
According to a memo, the following students have been appointed as Hostel and Off-Campus Representatives: Sulaiman Yusuf Sulaiman as Male Hostel Representative from the Civil Engineering Department, Yusuf Kudirat Abdullateef as Female Hostel Representative from the Science and Laboratory Technology Department, Andrew Ali Adilimil as Off-Campus Representative I from the Mechanical Engineering Department, and Anawana Adaora Emmanuella as Off-Campus Representative II from the Business Administration and Management Department.
Their duties include serving as a liaison between students and the SUG on accommodation and welfare matters, reporting issues related to hostels and off-campus living promptly, engaging with landlords/hostel authorities when necessary, mobilizing and sensitizing students within their constituencies, and attending meetings and participating in the Students Consultative Forum (SCF).
The appointees are expected to carry out their responsibilities with diligence, integrity, and commitment.
