Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, has officially released guidelines for the 2026/2027 academic session admission exercise. The institution announced the commencement of online registration and screening for both Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) candidates.
The screening portal is now open, and eligible prospective students who selected PAAU as their first-choice institution have a month-long window to complete their applications, upload required credentials, and position themselves for the upcoming screening exercise.
Here are the critical details and requirements: registration and upload of O'level results for post-UTME/DE online screening begins on Monday, June 1st, 2026, and closes on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026. The Post-UTME screening fee is N2000 only. Only candidates who scored 150 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are qualified for the screening exercise.
UTME candidates will be screened based on their Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) score and O-level results only. Candidates must have sat for the appropriate Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) subjects for their proposed courses of study and possess the basic five (5) O'level credit passes in the relevant subjects.
Direct Entry (DE) candidates generally require a minimum of upper credit (ND, HND and University Diploma), merit (NCE), minimum of 10 points in A'level result, and recognized first-degree certificate to qualify for eligible programmes in the University. Candidates are expected to apply online at https://eportal.paau.edu.ng/pd_dip/utme_dashboard and fill in relevant certificates, stating correct examination number, date, type, and scratch card PIN.
Candidates should preview and confirm that all the information entered is correct before submission. All Direct Entry candidates who applied to JAMB for admission and chose Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba (PAAU) as the institution of First Choice are also required to complete the online application form for their screening exercise. The minimum entry grade is an Upper Credit for Diplomas and a minimum of 10 points for A'level candidates.
It is mandatory that candidates upload their O'level results, as no admission will be offered without uploading of O'level on JAMB CAPS. The screening exercise will commence immediately after the closure of online registration. Thereafter, results will be communicated to candidates through the registration portal. Candidates are expected to monitor their statuses on JAMB CAPS and the university portal.
