The Federal University of Agriculture, Bassambiri, located in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, has commenced its admission process for the 2026/2027 academic session.

In a statement signed by the Registrar, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Reginald Inodu Keremah, invites all JAMB/UTME candidates who scored 150 and above to apply for admission into FUAB's degree programmes across its four faculties.

Applicants must initiate a Change of Institution to Federal University of Agriculture Bassambiri on the official JAMB portal before proceeding to complete their FUAB screening application online.

Eligibility and required documents include UTME candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME and selected FUAB as their first choice, as well as a minimum of five credit passes in O'Level (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) including English Language and Mathematics. Change of Institution must be done via JAMB before applying, and applicants must complete the online screening process and meet departmental requirements.

FUAB offers programmes under four faculties: Agricultural Sciences, Science, Environmental Resources Management, and Engineering. These faculties include various programmes such as Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, Crop Science, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Data Science, Marine Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Animal & Environmental Biology, Forestry & Wildlife, Horticulture & Landscaping, Entrepreneurship, Agricultural & Biosystem, Civil, Marine, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Chemical, Petroleum & Gas Engineering.
