The Management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, has been made aware of a circular circulating on social media titled 'STUDENTS' DRUG INTEGRITY TESTING WITH NDLEA (MANDATORY COMPLIANCE REQUIRED)'. The University categorically states that this circular did not originate from the Office of the Registrar or any authorized organ of the University.
The University distances itself from the contents of the circular and advises students and the public to disregard it. Students are encouraged to remain calm and continue with their academic activities as usual.
The University Management has not introduced any requirement making a drug integrity test a condition for accessing or viewing semester examination results. Students will be able to access their examination results through the normal procedures approved by the University.
The University remains committed to providing timely and accurate information through its official communication channels and urges students to verify any information before acting on it.
