OAU Post-UTME/DE 2026: Cut Off Mark, Eligibility And Registration Procedures

Jun, 16Views: 7

Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife has announced that registration for the 2026 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening exercise will commence on Tuesday, 16th June and end on Friday, 14 August, 2026. This is targeted at candidates who made the university their first choice in the 2026 UTME and scored 200 and above, as well as those who applied for Direct Entry (DE).

To participate in the screening exercise, candidates are required to follow a series of steps. The first step involves visiting the university's admission portal at https://eportal2.oauife.edu.ng/ug/admissions, where they will select 'Verify your Details' and provide their JAMB Registration Number, email, and phone number.

After verifying their details, candidates will proceed to make payment via the specified payment gateway. Payment can be made using a card, transfer, USSD, or by visiting a physical bank. Once payment has been confirmed, candidates will receive their login details via email. If a candidate does not receive their login details, they can return to the admission portal, click 'Confirm Your Payment', enter their JAMB Registration Number/Email, and validate to have their login credentials re-sent.

The next step involves logging into the portal using the JAMB Registration Number as both the username and password. After successful login, candidates will click 'My Application', fill in all required details, and review the information carefully before submitting their application.

Additional guidelines regarding eligibility for UTME, DE, Foreign, and Candidates with disabilities are available on the university's admission portal. It is essential for candidates to note that they will be required to present themselves physically at designated locations for the screening exercise. Furthermore, providing false information or uploading incorrect credentials will lead to automatic disqualification.

Candidates are advised to check their screening schedule on the OAU admissions Portal from Monday, 24th August, 2026, and participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise on their allotted dates and time from 1st to 5th September, 2026. The Post-UTME Screening fee is two thousand naira (N2,000.00) only, excluding portal access charges. Candidates should be cautious of patronizing POST-UTME or admission agents, as the university does not endorse such practices. All enquiries should be forwarded to postutme2026@oauife.edu.ng.
