This programme also serves as a preparatory platform for Senior Secondary School (SS III) students and other school leavers, enabling them to excel in the NECO and WAEC examinations.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for admission, applicants must possess five 'O' level credits in subjects relevant to their proposed course of study, including English Language and Mathematics. These credits must have been obtained in not more than two sittings in GCE and SSCE.

Admission is open to candidates who are awaiting the release of the most recent WAEC and NECO School Certificate Examination results, as well as those who have attempted and are still preparing to sit for these exams again. However, admission to Degree Programmes in the University will also depend on the candidate's performance in the current JAMB.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

The registration process involves the following steps:

• Visit the University Website at https://nduportal.com/ and click on Basic Application.
• Click on 'Start Application' to create an account using your Fullname, Gender, Phone Number, Email, Contact Address, and set a password.
• Click on 'buy EPin' only online using your Bank Debit/Credit card.
• Fill the application form with the EPin purchased (generated, sent to your email and phone number) and apply for admission.
• Proceed to the School of Pre-Degree and Basic Studies, ICT Building at the New Site, and obtain an admission application form at the Basic Studies Unit for further processes.

DURATION OF PROGRAMME

The programme is scheduled to last for one academic year, spanning from 2026 to 2027.
