Niger Delta University invites applications from qualified candidates for admission to its Basic Studies Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The programme is specifically designed to equip secondary school leavers with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the JAMB examination, thereby enhancing their chances of gaining admission into various faculties and departments within the university.
This programme also serves as a preparatory platform for Senior Secondary School (SS III) students and other school leavers, enabling them to excel in the NECO and WAEC examinations.
To be eligible for admission, applicants must possess five 'O' level credits in subjects relevant to their proposed course of study, including English Language and Mathematics. These credits must have been obtained in not more than two sittings in GCE and SSCE.
Admission is open to candidates who are awaiting the release of the most recent WAEC and NECO School Certificate Examination results, as well as those who have attempted and are still preparing to sit for these exams again. However, admission to Degree Programmes in the University will also depend on the candidate's performance in the current JAMB.
