The management of Southern Delta University has put in place a temporary ban on students' vehicles entering the campus from July 13 to August 15, 2026.

This move is aimed at maintaining order during the examination and post-examination period.

An internal memo signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Ejiroghene Etobro, also prohibits all forms of signing-out celebrations, including writing on shirts or similar activities.

Key directives include:

• Students must not invite friends, guardians, or visitors to campus for sign-out celebrations.
• All forms of partying within the campus and hostels are strictly prohibited.
• Campus 2 gate will remain closed from morning until 12 noon between July 20 and August 15, 2026.
• Students are warned against climbing the perimeter fence.
• Visits to water pools within the university are strictly prohibited.

The university has warned that any student who violates these directives will face disciplinary sanctions. The Chief Security Officer and other relevant authorities have been instructed to ensure full compliance.
