Introduction

The Institute of Continuing Education at Northwest University, Kano, has begun selling application forms for part-time degree programs for the 2026/2027 academic year. The application portal will be available until August 30, 2026. Both Level 100 and Level 200 admissions are available through Direct Entry.

Eligibility

To qualify for admission, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• General Requirement: Applicants must meet the specific requirements for the program they are applying for.
• O'Level Requirements: Five O'Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, are required.
• Direct Entry (D.E.) Requirements: For Level 200 Direct Entry, candidates must have NCE/IJMB (minimum of 9 Points) or a National Diploma (ND) with at least a Lower Credit, in addition to the required five O'Level credits.

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online by visiting the university's official application portal at https://ice.nwu.edu.ng/. They should complete the online registration form as instructed. The application fee is N15,000 (Non-refundable).
