Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo, a premier institution for special education in Sub-Sahara West Africa, was established in October 1977. The college trains teachers and other professionals to cater to individuals with special needs. Its admission policy covers the entire nation, resulting in a diverse student population.
The college offers a 5-year Dual Mode Degree Programme, which includes a 3-year NCE and a 2-year degree.
1. Candidates should log on to dualmode.fcesoyo.edu.ng to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000.00 for online registration. 2. A processing fee of ₦700.00 is required for the 2026/2027 academic session. 3. Candidates who did not sit for the 2026 UTME must pay a ₦3,500.00 JAMB registration fee at the JAMB-approved Institutional Professional Registration Centre (IPRC) in the college.
5. Upload scanned O’Level results and a passport photograph with a white background. 6. Print the online application form to confirm successful registration. 7. Candidates presenting O’Level qualifications must indicate the type of examination results on the JAMB platform during verification, with a verification fee of ₦1,500.00 for one sitting and ₦2,000.00 for two sittings.
1. Complete the admission screening form online starting from Monday, July 13, 2026.
3. Present the original and a photocopy of the completed online Admission Screening Application Form. 4. Present SSCE/GCE O’ Level results or NBAIS for Arabic Language and Islamic Studies. 5. Present the Change of Institution printout by candidates who did not originally choose the college as their first-choice institution. 6. Upload SSCE/GCE O’ Level results to the JAMB Profile at any accredited CBT Centre nationwide. 7. Candidates awaiting results may apply but must upload their results to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
The deadline for submission of the application for the admission screening on the college website is Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
The screening exercise will commence at 9:00 a.m. prompt. The venue will be indicated on the printout copy of the completed online Admission Screening Application Form.
