The Students' Union Government of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, has announced the approved dates for Faculty and Departmental Associations to conduct their FYB Week activities.

The approved period for these activities is from Monday, 3rd August, 2026, to Saturday, 8th August, 2026. All concerned associations must ensure their activities are conducted within this timeframe.

Furthermore, the University Cultural Carnival is scheduled to take place immediately after the conclusion of the FYB Week activities. This event will serve as the final major student activity for the session.

Consequently, no student-related activities, social events, or programmes will be permitted after the Cultural Carnival. All associations, including Faculty, Departmental, Tribal, Ethnic, and other student groups, are advised to plan and conclude their activities accordingly.

• Faculty associations must adhere to the approved schedule
• Departmental associations are expected to plan within the given timeframe
• Tribal and Ethnic associations must conclude their activities before the Cultural Carnival
• All student associations must cooperate with the Students' Union Government

The Students' Union Government appreciates the cooperation and understanding of all students and associations as they work together to ensure an orderly and successful conclusion of student activities for the session.
