Security Advisory Notice

The Students' Union Government wishes to notify all students, especially those residing within and around the Isolu Community, of the forthcoming Oro traditional rites scheduled for Thursday, 6th August 2026.

In order to ensure safety, students are advised to prepare in advance and avoid unnecessary movement during the exercise.

Key Precautions

  • Remain indoors from 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, 6th August 2026
  • Avoid moving around the affected areas until it is safe to do so
  • Remain vigilant and avoid walking alone at night
  • Prioritize personal safety throughout this period

The Students' Union Government encourages all students to share this information with fellow students, particularly those residing within the affected community, to ensure everyone's safety.

The safety of all students remains the top priority, and cooperation is appreciated.
