To Enhance Timely Commencement of Academic Activities

All Deans and Heads of Departments are requested to ensure lectures start as scheduled on Monday, 10th August 2026. This move aims to address delays that have previously affected the start of lectures.

Monitoring and Supervision

Deans and Heads of Departments are further requested to intensify monitoring and supervision. This will ensure that lectures commence promptly and are conducted as scheduled. Lecturers are advised to fully engage with students, teaching them as they would a full class, regardless of the number of students present.

Monitoring Visits

The Office of Academic Planning & Quality Assurance, in collaboration with the Information Unit, will conduct monitoring visits. These visits will observe and document the commencement of lectures, with reports submitted to University authorities and communicated to the wider University community as necessary.
