The Management of Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko, has announced that the institution will reopen for academic activities on Monday, 10th August, 2026, following an emergency meeting held on Friday, 7th August, 2026.
The decision to reopen comes after the Polytechnic was closed on 14th July, 2026, to allow for necessary renovations, repairs, and fumigation of the campus and the Girls' Hostels.
Upon reopening, all academic activities will resume immediately. Staff and students are expected to return to their normal duties as scheduled.
The Tansian University, Fidei Polytechnic Liaison Centre is also set to reopen for academic activities. Management is working to address and resolve issues related to the recent student protest at the Centre.
Management has expressed gratitude for the understanding and cooperation of staff, students, parents, stakeholders, and the general public during the closure period. They have assured everyone of their commitment to the safety, welfare, and academic progress of all members of the Polytechnic community.
