The Senate, the university community and the general public are hereby notified that the 82nd Inaugural Lecture of Abia State University, Uturu, originally set for Wednesday, 19 August 2026, will not take place as planned.

A rescheduled date will be communicated in due time.

The Management together with the Senate Ceremonial Committee apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause to our distinguished guests, especially the friends and colleagues of the Inaugural Lecturer.
