Prince Abubakar Audu University in Anyigba has issued a notice that its 26th Inaugural Lecture, originally set for Tuesday, August 25, 2026, will be postponed.
A press statement, signed by the university’s Public Relations Officer Uredo Omale, explains that the delay is due to the federal government designating Tuesday, August 25 as a public holiday in honor of the 2026 Eid Maulud observance.
The event has been moved to Tuesday, September 1, 2026, and will take place at the same time and location as originally planned.
The university apologizes for any inconvenience this change may cause to students, staff, and the wider public.
All members of the university community and the public are urged to note the updated date.
