Northwest University located in Kano has issued a notice that registration for the Summer Programme of the second semester 2024/2025 is now open.
The university’s official circular, dated 23 August 2026, states that the registration window opens on Monday, 24 August 2026, and will close on Tuesday, 1 September 2026.
According to the announcement, the programme is available to students who are presently on academic probation, those who have previously been on probation, final‑year undergraduates, as well as spill‑over students.
Eligibility is limited to learners who enrolled in courses during the second semester of the 2024/2025 session and subsequently failed them. Candidates who have an ABS (Absent) status, who withdrew from the courses, or who hold an ICG (Incomplete Grade) record in those courses are excluded from participation.
Qualified students may register for up to five courses at most.
The fee structure comprises a central registration charge of ₦20,000 together with a per‑course fee of ₦5,000. The institution further clarifies that all payments are final and non‑refundable.
Consequently, the university urges every eligible student to finalize their registration within the prescribed timeframe and to follow the outlined guidelines without deviation.
The circular bears the signature of Abbas S. Abashe, Secretary of the University Committee on Summer Courses, on behalf of the Chairperson.
