The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) wishes to highlight that fraudsters and certain dishonest persons are attempting to deceive the public by pretending to provide FUTA admissions for the 2026/2027 academic session.

To be clear, admission to FUTA, as with comparable universities, is conducted under the supervision of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB); the procedure is rigorously overseen and protected against any internal or external tampering.

Consequently, this announcement serves as a warning to prospective students, their parents, sponsors, and the wider public to remain alert to scammers and individuals with malicious intent who spread misinformation about the admission process and may sell fake admission offers for monetary profit.

Applicants, parents, guardians, and anyone in the community are strongly urged not to remit any funds to any person or organization claiming to check results, upload results, or manipulate the admission procedure in any manner.

Admissions remain strictly merit‑based and cannot be altered by any influence.
