The Students’ Union Government at the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has issued a warning to candidates applying for the 2026/2027 intake, urging them to beware of scammers who demand payment while pretending to arrange university admission.

According to the SUG, entry into FUTMINNA is governed by a fully official procedure, and no external agent or intermediary possesses the right to assure a place beyond the sanctioned system.

The union further counselled prospective students to refrain from giving money to anyone promising guaranteed admission, and to confirm the legitimacy of any contact before proceeding.

The SUG added that it is collaborating with university management to pinpoint and suppress fraudulent admission schemes that target unwary applicants.

All aspiring students were urged to stay alert and depend solely on official university channels for admission information. The union expressed gratitude for cooperation.
