Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria has issued an announcement that its Department of Computer Engineering will host a Research Fair from September 28 through September 30, 2026.

In a dedicated bulletin released by the university, the Research Fair Committee extended an invitation to all members of the ABU community to take part in the three‑day gathering.

The schedule is set to unfold in the Main Lobby of the Kashim Ibrahim Library on the ABU campus in Zaria, with activities commencing each day at 9:00 a.m.

The inaugural ceremony is slated for Monday, 28 September 2026, and will begin at 3:00 p.m.

University officials state that the fair’s primary aim is to exhibit the scholarly outputs of the Computer Engineering Department while underscoring its involvement with the latest technological and scientific advances.

Additionally, the event will emphasize the ways in which the department’s innovations are being deployed to address local engineering problems, adhering to global standards.

The notice bears the signature of Prof. Ken Okoli, who serves as Chairman of the ABU Research Fair Committee.
