The Office of the University Hall Master at Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere‑Ekiti (BOUESTI) wishes to notify all students that the process for assigning rooms in the University Halls of Residence for the 2026/2027 academic year will begin on Saturday, 24 October 2026 at 10:00 a.m. for first‑year entrants via the University Portal. The allocation round for returning students is scheduled for Friday, 30 October 2026.

Important Information for Interested Students:

• Halls A, B, E, and F are designated for female occupants; Halls C and D are set aside for male occupants.
• The sanctioned fees for each Hall of Residence are:
• Hall A – ₦80,000.00
• Hall B – ₦80,000.00
• Hall C – ₦80,000.00
• Hall D – ₦80,000.00
• Hall E – ₦100,000.00
• Hall F – ₦150,000.00
• Bed spaces will be allotted on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
• Applicants must have settled at least 60 % of their tuition fees before applying for accommodation.
• Students who can provide proof of a pending NELFUND loan application may apply without meeting the 60 % payment requirement.

PROCEDURES FOR HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION APPLICATION

• Visit the portal at http://portal.bouesti.edu.ng
• Sign in to your personal dashboard using your credentials.
• For new entrants, the username corresponds to your JAMB Registration Number and the default password is "password1".

Note: Fresh entrants should complete their Biodata information before proceeding.

• Choose the "Hostel/Accommodation" option located on the left navigation pane.
• Pick the Hall of Residence you wish to occupy (Hall A, B, C, D, E, or F) and follow the on‑screen instructions to make the required payment.

Note: After payment is confirmed, you must also select a specific bed space:

• Return to the "Hostel/Accommodation" section on the left menu.
• Select your desired bed location.
• Generate and print the Hostel/Accommodation Biodata Form, which details the room assigned to you in the chosen Hall.

Registration Process after Allocation:

Once you have printed the Accommodation Biodata Form, each student must:

• Register with the University Hall Master before moving into the Hall.
• Complete all residential formalities within the assigned Hall of Residence.
• Submit a signed or endorsed passport‑size photograph(s) and fill out any additional required documentation at the Hall office.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

All students are strongly urged to process payments exclusively through the University Portal and avoid direct payments via http://www.remita.net.

Failure to follow the prescribed application method will result in penalties.
