INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES OFFERED PROVISIONAL ADMISSION FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

Applicants who have received provisional admission must follow the steps outlined below to confirm their place:

• Log onto the JAMB portal, go to CAPS and click “Accept Admission”. Failure to do so will prevent the issuance of a JAMB Admission Letter and will be treated as a non‑admission.
• Access the University of Nigeria website (www.unn.edu.ng) or its portal (unnportal.edu.ng), sign in using your JAMB registration number, and generate a payment invoice that includes a Remita reference. This invoice can be used to pay at any commercial bank, including the UNN Microfinance Bank.
• Using the invoice, remit N50,000.00 for non‑regulated programmes or N100,000.00 for regulated courses such as Medicine, Law, Pharmacy, Nursing and Dentistry as the acceptance fee. Make sure the invoice number is entered correctly at the bank and retain the confirmation slip showing both the confirmation and invoice numbers.
• Return to the UNN website or portal, log in with your JAMB registration number together with the confirmation and invoice numbers, then download and print the admission slip and complete the online acceptance form.
• Carry out any additional fee payments and complete registration as directed on the university’s website.
• Remember that the admission offered at this stage is provisional.
• Should it later emerge—at any point up to the final year—that a student does not meet the minimum university or faculty/department entry requirements specified by the Senate and listed in the JAMB brochure, the admission offer will be cancelled.
