Eligibility for 2026/2027 UTME Candidates

Applicants who sat for the 2026/2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, did not receive an offer in the earlier round, and achieved a combined score of 160 or higher in both the UTME and the subsequent screening are welcome to apply for the advertised programmes listed below.

Instructions to candidates applying for advertised courses

• Eligible aspirants should access the University of Nigeria official website (unn.edu.ng) or the portal (unnportal.unn.edu.ng). Log in using your JAMB Registration Number to produce and download a payment invoice that includes a Remita reference. This invoice will be required for payment at any commercial bank.
• Using the generated invoice, remit the Advert/Shopping processing fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00). When paying, ensure the Invoice Number is entered correctly and retain the bank’s confirmation slip that shows both the Confirmation number and the Invoice number.
• After payment, return to the University of Nigeria website or portal, log in with your JAMB and invoice numbers, and complete the Advert/Shopping application form online.
• The application window opens on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, and closes on Tuesday, 3 November 2026.
• Applicants must meet the university’s minimum and departmental entry requirements for their chosen programmes and must have sat the appropriate UTME subjects as well as the PUTME for the 2025/2026 session.
• Candidates should verify that the subjects taken in the UTME align with the requirements of the department they intend to join.
• It is also essential that candidates have secured their O’Level results before admission.
