THE management of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife, Osun State, may have shut down the school indefinitely.
The closure is sequel to the continued protest by the students over poor welfare and funding of education and deadlocked meeting between the management and students union leaders yesterday evening.
However, the Public Relations Officer of the university, Mr. Abiodun Olanrewaju, told The Guardian that the
management did not close the school but asked the students to proceed on mid-semester break.
