All candidates who participated in the 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise at Obafemi Awolowo University are now invited to verify their admission status.

The list of successful applicants has been uploaded to both the JAMB CAPS portal and the university’s own website. Candidates should adhere to the procedure below to confirm their results.

How To Check the Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

• Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ and log in with the email address and password you used during registration to access your dashboard.
• Click on “Check Admission Status”.
• Select “Access my CAPS”.
• Choose “Admission Status” to see whether you have received an offer.

If an admission offer has been made, the system will display your photograph along with a congratulatory message. If no offer is available yet, you will receive a text stating "Sorry No Admission has been Given Yet".

Candidates who receive an offer may either accept or decline it by sending the word ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 from the phone number linked to their JAMB profile.

You have a four‑week window to respond to the offer. Applicants whose registered phone numbers are unavailable must visit a JAMB‑accredited centre to submit their acceptance or rejection.

It is essential to print your admission letter after you have accepted the offer, as the document will be required during clearance and registration at the university.
