In order to ensure tranquility during the 2014/2015 Convocation Ceremonies scheduled for Tuesday, March 1, Wednesday, March 2, and Thursday, March 3, 2016, parking and commercial activities are completely prohibited in the underlisted areas:

1.    Faculty of Education car-park;

2.    Faculty of Environmental Sciences car-park;

3.    Usman dan Fodio Boulevard;

4.    International School Road; and

5.    Ransome-Kuti Road.

The underlisted locations are the only spots on campus approved for the entertainment of guests:

1.    United Bank of Africa (UBA) park;

2.    Faculties; and

3.    The Lagoon Front

Deans of Faculties are advised to identify spaces for the reception of their students. The use of Faculty Car Parks for reception is prohibited.

Please note that it is illegal for any staff or student to charge any form of payment for parking in the student halls of residence.

ALL MEMBERS OF THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY ARE ENJOINED TO COMPLY WITH THIS DIRECTIVE.
