Kwara State University, KWASU is seeking outstanding candidates to apply for the vacant position of computer operator in the Institute of Education of the University.

VACANT POSITION: Computer Operator.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must possess the following:
-    SSCE/GCE (O/LEVEL)  with five (5)credits including Mathematics and  Mathematics and English Language
-    B.Sc./ HND in Computer Science or equivalents with at least Second Class Honours Lower Division
-    knowledge and experience of relevant software applications – spreadsheets, word processing, and database management, Microsoft and Windows applications
-    knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, knowledge of business principles
-    proven experience in information and communication management, and required typing speed
-    Good communication and troubleshooting skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
I.    Troubleshooting and Managing Internet Connectivity/ facilities and LAN servers
II.    Managing windows in the use of software applications.
III.    Prepares and manage correspondence, reports and documents
IV.    Collates information and maintain databases
V.    Communicates verbally and in writing to answer inquiries and provide information
VI.    Liaisons with internal and external contacts such as KWASU CIT
VII.    Coordinates the flow of information both internally and externally
VIII.    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
IX.    Any other duties as may be assigned by the Institute Director
