Taraba State University, Jalingo, has introduced a Student Portal Orientation and Computer-Based Test (CBT) Mock Examination specifically designed for its newly admitted students. This initiative, led by the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT/MIS), aims to ensure that fresh students are well-acquainted with the university's student portal and the CBT examination environment, thereby preparing them for their upcoming academic assessments.
According to an internal circular dated February 13, 2026, the orientation and mock examination will take place from February 17 to February 19, 2026. The daily schedule for the event is set between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the University CBT Centre.
The programme is structured to provide hands-on training on accessing and effectively utilizing the student portal, while the mock examination will familiarize students with the CBT format utilized by the university. To ensure a smooth process, students will be grouped according to their respective faculties, with specific details to be communicated to them.
Newly admitted students are strongly encouraged to attend the scheduled sessions, arrive on time, and adhere strictly to the instructions provided during the exercise. For any additional information or clarification, students can reach out to the ICT/MIS Directorate Complex.
