The Federal Polytechnic, Oko, has announced a three-day Career Development Workshop to equip students with essential knowledge about career opportunities in their fields of study.
The workshop, organized by the Directorate of Guidance, Counselling and Career Services under Rector Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie's leadership, is themed 'Career Exploration'. It aims to provide students with insights into job prospects and professional pathways.
The event will take place from April 15 to April 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM daily, at the Auditorium Extension Site. The schedule is as follows: Day 1 (April 15, 2026): School of Applied Sciences and School of Science Technology. Day 2 (April 16, 2026): School of Arts, Design and Printing, School of Information Technology, School of Business Studies, and School of Financial Studies. Day 3 (April 17, 2026): School of Engineering Technology and School of Environmental Technology.
Attendance is compulsory for all students, as career planning and professional development are crucial in today's competitive job market. Students are encouraged to participate actively to gain valuable guidance for their future careers.
