Undergraduate and postgraduate students of the University of Lagos studying oil and gas-related disciplines can apply for the 2025/2026 In-Country Scholarship Scheme of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund.

The PTDF, Nigeria’s leading agency for human and institutional capacity development in the oil and gas industry, offers scholarships to qualified Nigerians pursuing academic programmes in relevant fields within the country.

The application portal opens on Monday, April 20, 2026, and will close on Friday, May 29, 2026. Interested and eligible students must complete their applications online via the official PTDF scholarship portal: https://scholarship.ptdf.gov.ng.

The portal will be active for six weeks, during which applicants must submit all required information and documents before the deadline. The scholarship scheme provides a significant opportunity for UNILAG students to further their academic pursuits and build professional careers within Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
