The University of Port Harcourt invites candidates who chose the institution for Direct Entry Admission to apply for screening. To do this, candidates must log in to the University website, www.uniport.edu.ng, and complete a form online, providing information on their qualifying examinations for Direct Entry Admission, results obtained from qualifying examinations, and their JAMB Registration Number.

The online registration is scheduled to take place from Friday, 15th May, 2026, to Friday, 19th June, 2026. To register, candidates should visit the University website and follow the registration procedure, which includes generating a Remita Code for online payment, obtaining a Remita Receipt, and proceeding to complete the form online.

After completing the form, candidates are required to submit documents, including a photocopy of their JAMB Slip, Birth Certificate/Age Declaration, O’Level Examination Results, and A’Level/Diploma/NCE/JUPEB/IJMB and Degree Results, to the Admissions Office. Alternatively, these documents can be mailed by courier to the Admissions Officer at the University.

It is essential for candidates to ensure that their names on all registration documents, including O’Level and A’Level Results and JAMB Result Slips, are consistent, as any inconsistency may lead to disqualification. Candidates must also be at least 16 years old by September 2026 and apply within the registration period, as the online link for the Application Form will be disabled at midnight on Friday, 19th June, 2026.
