Federal University of Health Sciences and Technology, Tsafe, has secured approval from the National Universities Commission to offer 18 undergraduate programmes.
The approval comes after a thorough resource verification exercise conducted by a panel of experts. The exercise assessed the university's capacity to handle the new programmes, which include MBBS Medicine and Surgery, BDS Dentistry, and B.NSc Nursing Science.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibrahim Adamu Yakasai, has expressed his delight at the approval, describing it as a significant milestone for the university. He attributed the success to the collective efforts of the management, staff, and stakeholders.
The National Universities Commission has stipulated that the approval only covers the full-time mode of delivery. The programmes must retain their approved titles and nomenclature, with any changes subject to further Commission approval.
