NSUK Academic Calendar For 2016/17 Session

Nasarawa State University, Keffi, NSUK academic calendar for the 2016/2017 academic session.

Senate of Nasarawa state University, Keffi  (NSUK) at its 59th Regular Meeting held Thursday October 27, 2016,  has approved the proposed academic calendar for the 2016/2017 academic session.

The Calendar shows that students will be expected to resume for the new Session on November 27, 2016 to close the First Semester by 31st March, 2017.

They will then enjoy two weeks break and return for the Second Semester on April 18, 2017 after the Esther Break. The next Session is expected to end in July.

NASARAWA STATE UNIVERSITY ACADEMIC CALENDAR.

NSUK 1st Semester Academic calendar:

  1. Resumption of Students – 27th November 2016
  2. Registration Begins – 28th November 2016
  3. Registration Ends – 9th December 2016
  4. Late Registration Begins – 12th December 2016
  5. End of Late Registration – 16th December 2016
  6. End of Year Break Begins – 16th December 2016
  7. End of Year Break Ends – 1st January January 2017
  8. Resumption of Students From End Of Year Break – 2nd January 2017
  9. 1st Semester Lectures Begins – 2nd January 2017
  10. 1st Semester Lectures Ends – 3rd March 2017
  11. Revision Week – 6th to 10th Of March 2017
  12. 1st Semester Exam Begins – 13th March 2017
  13. 1st Semester Exam Ends – 31st March 2017
  14. 1st Semester Break Begins – 31st March 2017
  15. 1st Semester Break Ends – 14th April 2017

First Semester – 13 weeks (2 weeks registration, 9 weeks Lecture, and 2 weeks end of year break)

NSUK 2nd Semester Academic calendar:

  1. Return of Students for 2nd Semester – 18th April 2017
  2. 2nd Semester Lectures Begin – 18th April 2017
  3. 2nd Semester Lectures End – 23rd June 2017
  4. Revision Week – 26th June To 3rd July 2017
  5. 2nd Semester Exam Begins – 3rd July 2017
  6. 2nd Semester Exam Ends – 29th July 2017

Second Semester – 13 weeks (9 weeks Lectures, 1 week revision, 3 weeks exam)
